— Alex Turner.

David and Goliath by Titian Vecelli, a famed renaissance painter of Venice, rival city to Florence. This painting is a classic example of what the men of the Renaissance period valued: religion. Here, as in many paintings, we have a glorified imprint of the confrontation between David and Goliath. True, humanism did also emerge in this era, though humanism in a Renaissance sense was not a challenge to faith as much as it was a fresh outlook.
